1UnChained is a program providing support to offenders. Our focus is on reconciliation and rehabilitation while walking the Christian path.
It all started with an idea from Senior Pastor Vickylextar about the need for everyone to live a life unchained, and for offenders to be empowered and equipped to do the same. She then trained a team to prepare them for the epic task. For the last few years now, the 1Unchained team has changed lives through visits to detention centres for the teaching of the Word of God, counselling and additional support as appropriate.
We aim to:
*Reduce and break the cycle of recidivism.
* Build a support system for offenders through reconciliation and rehabilitation while learning the Christian walk.
* Prepare offenders for release.
* Empower the body of Christ to shine in the lives of the offenders.
